Accdor

Accdor is a tropical jungle located on the southern half of the Syntallis continent. It's warm and humid climate promotes the growth of many types of trees and flora. Accdor is also home to the indyl, a race of humans blessed with the powers of fire magic by their deity, the God-King Zarian.

Biome Accdor is a hot, moist jungle where it rains throughout the year. However, during the winter, the realm's northern half does get cold enough for it to consistently snow. The vast majority of the uninhabited land in Accdor is covered in trees so densely packed together that their canopies block out the sun for large portions of the day. Creeks, brooks, streams and rivers snake along the uneven countryside that is littered with fractured cliffs. 

Climate per season The climate in Accdor is rather consistent across each season, with the main difference being that the northern most parts of the realm are around thirty degrees cooler than the southern most parts of the region. During the spring and summer the differing temperatures do not affect the northern and southern halves differently as both see rain an average of three times a week. Where this temperature range does make a difference is during autumn and winter for it causes it to snow in the north during the winter months and causes the leaves in trees in the colder half of the realm to change color during autumn, before falling off during the winter. 

Natural Resources Accdor's most common natural resources are the oak, maple, spruce, emberwood and silverwood trees that cover the landscape. Their second most abundant resources are the fruits the indyl grow and harvest on their farms, orchards and plantations. These fruits include common items like apples, oranges, bananas, and mangoes along with specialty items like the Sufley Star. 

Flora The tropical climate of Accdor allows many different types of flora to flourish within its jungle. Some examples of common flowers found in Accdor are Passiflora, heliconia, mangroves and bougainvillea. 

Fauna The fauna found in Accdor is quite diverse as any who explore its vast jungle might see mammals like jaguars, birds like toucans or snakes like anaconda. 

Monsters Because of the abundance of fire-infused Divine Energy present in Accdor thanks to the God-King Zarain's influence, many of the monsters that call the jungle home have a fire-related variant to them. An example are the bands of ogres that can be found populating the remote hills deep in the jungle. In addition to their normal, non-magical variant, there also exists the Scarlet Ogre, which is a type of ogre with red skin, can breathe fire and can set its surroundings on fire by raising its body temperature. 

Race The predominant race native to Accdor are the indyl who are a race of humans blessed with fire magic by their patron deity, the God-King Zarian. 

Continent Accdor is located on the lower half of the Syntallis continent, which lies at the center of the world, and acts as the bridge that connects the other continents to each other. 

Border Regions Accdor is completely surrounded by the Thundull Mountains. Past the mountains to the north is the Ronsenferg Forest. Beyond the mountains to the south is the Southern Ocean where the Sereaz Archipelago can be found. Going beyond the mountains the the west one will find the Western Ocean before landing ashore in the Renolyde Desert. 

Deity Zarian, King of the Gods and Master of the Everlasting Flame, holds dominion over the tropical jungle of Accdor.
